Paul H. Coren

Paul has practiced corporate, business, and intellectual property law for 17 years. Since 1991, he has worked with hundreds of start-up businesses as a transactional lawyer, assisting with company formation, founder arrangements, corporate funding, intellectual property protection, technology licensing, strategic alliances, and company acquisition work. Paul brings a depth of experience, strong analytical skills, and a strong attention to detail to the handling of complex projects in the start-up business field. He also has worked with many small to medium sized traditional businesses in a variety of fields.

Paul received his B.A. degree in 1982 from the University of Arizona, graduating summa cum laude. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1987, graduating magna cum laude and admitted to the Order of the Coif. Before beginning his legal career, Paul received an M.A. from the University of Michigan in 1988, where he was a Regents' Fellow. Paul began his legal career at the San Francisco law firm of Morrison & Foerster, where he served as an associate attorney for three years. He joined Grellas & Associates in 1991 as an associate attorney and has continued with the firm in an of-counsel capacity to the present. Paul is a member of the State Bar of California.
