Foreign Companies Seeking a Silicon Valley Presence
Many companies (typically high tech) have retained us over the
years to help them establish a Silicon Valley division or subsidiary
which they can then use as a base for U.S. operations or for U.S.
licensing or other intellectual property transactions. We have
set up many such companies for parent companies (or founding groups)
located in Japan, Korea, and elsewhere in the Pacific Rim, for
parent companies in India, for parent companies in the U.K., in
Germany, and elsewhere in Europe, and for other companies and
founding groups scattered throughout the globe. These types of
transactions typically involve the corporate work necessary to
establish the U.S. company. In this respect, we also help with
business, contract, lease, and employment matters usually connected
with establishing a remote office located within Silicon Valley.
