- A prototype development and sublicensing of Lockheed-Martin’s
Intelligent Library System to Liberty Livewire Corporation.
- Multiple source code licenses with Silicon Valley companies
on behalf of a subsidiary of Matsushita Electric Industrial
Co., Ltd.
- Master license and maintenance agreement between ActivCard,
Inc. and Citibank Development Center, Inc.
- Numerous source code and object code licenses for database
products in the Oracle environment on behalf of Aztec Software,
Ltd. and other software vendors.
- Multiple multi-million-dollar development and licensing deals
in the consumer electronics field for Zentek Technology, Inc.
and other software vendors.
- Product distribution agreements for Lightwaves2020, Inc. for
the international distribution of fiber optics products.
Notable acquisitions include a $35M sale of Nomadic Technologies,
Inc., a leading provider of wireless products, to 3COM, Inc. and
numerous other multi-million dollar acquisitions involving both
high tech and traditional businesses, together with many dozens
of smaller purchases and sales of traditional businesses located
in and other around Silicon Valley.
Notable commercial litigation efforts include various complex
business fraud, copyright, and trade secret cases, including various
settlements approaching $1 million in difficult cases against
parties represented by premier Silicon Valley law firms.
