Initial Consultation

We as a law firm want to be readily approachable by those who seek to become clients of our firm.

The two components to this fall under the rubric of the initial consultation.

Initial consultation by phone or email

We offer a no-cost, no-obligation initial consultation through relatively brief email or telephone exchanges to allow you to determine if our personalities are compatible and to determine whether our firm can assist you. In such a consultation, we will explain what you might expect if you retain our firm for your matters and how much this is likely to cost and will answer any questions about who we are, how we bill, and how we handle the types of matters we handle. At that point, we will not have an attorney-client relationship in place as yet.

No legal advice is provided to non-clients. Thus, legal advice is not provided during initial telephone or email consultations.

Initial phone or email consultations are normally handled by our lead attorney, George Grellas. You can call our office or email him at gg@grellas.com.

Initial consultation in-office

In-person initial consultations of up to one hour require a payment in advance of a fee of $125, representing a significant reduction from normal hourly rates (should the meeting extend beyond one hour, normal billing rates apply).  If the subject matter of the initial consultation pertains to a flat-fee matter such as an incorporation, the initial payment is credited toward the flat fee. These consultations are done under an attorney-client relationship and enable our attorneys to get into the full range of issues affecting the client.
