Catherine A. Dring

Cathy is a pragmatic, results-oriented corporate attorney with expertise in areas of corporate, private equity, and venture capital. Since 1991, she has represented corporate and venture clients in all aspects of their formation, operation and transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Cathy served as special counsel for ten years to the venture capital group at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in Palo Alto, California, where she specialized in corporate, contract, and private equity matters with emphasis on private equity financings. Before that, she had served as an associate attorney doing corporate work at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in San Diego. Most recently, Cathy had conducted her own private practice serving the needs of corporate and fund clients.

Cathy earned her law degree at the University of Southern California School of Law in 1991. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
